REUNITING WITH A PAST; PAINTING AND DRAWING ..

THIRTY THREE YEARS AGO I stopped painting and drawing after about a four year effort that included studies for a short time in Pratt Institute's master of fine arts program. Stopped cold. I'm not sure why.
But watching my artist wife at work lately, her visual arts skill, rekindled the urge to return to the mediums of the past: pencil, chalk, oil pastels, acrylic painting.
